Tomato Soup Recipe No Cream
Add tomatoes to onion mixture crushing with a potato masher.
Tomato soup recipe no cream. Bring the soup to a boil and add cornstarch slurry. Heat oil in a dutch oven or heavy stockpot over medium low heat. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of oil season with salt and pepper and roast for about 25 minutes or until soft and charred on the tops.
Cook and stir onion and garlic in hot oil until tender about 5 minutes. Stir bread basil and brown sugar into tomato mixture and simmer until bread is completely saturated and starts to break down about 10 minutes. Once the onions are done add the tomato puree to make the tomato soup without cream.
Take butter in a wok and add bay leaf. Then add chopped garlic and saute for a few seconds. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a medium pot over medium heat.
While tomatoes are roasting heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a medium sized pot saucepan over medium high heat. Then add onions and saute until translucent. Add salt and pepper powder and mix well.
Place tomatoes on a baking tray with the garlic cloves.
