Heat oven to 375 f.
Recipe for best oatmeal cookies ever. Flatten each cookie with a large fork dipped in sugar. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Stir in flour until well mixed.
Using a tablespoon measure scoop heaped tablespoons of the cookie dough onto your lined cookie sheet leaving about 1 1 2 to 2 inches between the cookies. Sift together flour salt and soda. Add the flour baking soda cinnamon and salt and beat until blended then beat in the eggs and raisins and the oatmeal.
Bake for about 9 10 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown and slightly risen. Cream together shortening and sugars. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Stir in oats slowly. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
Combine all ingredients except flour in bowl. Combine eggs raisins and vanilla and let stand for one hour. Preheat oven to 350 f.
Dough will be stiff. Add eggs and vanilla beat well. In a separate bowl combine the flour salt cinnamon and baking soda.
