Recipe Rice Pudding Crock Pot
For whatever reason rice pudding is usually not near the top when people list their favorite desserts but despite that it s a proven crowd pleaser and quite easy to make especially using this simplified one pot method.
Recipe rice pudding crock pot. Stir gently then cover with the lid and cook on low. Add 1 1 2 cups of milk and the sugar to the rice in the pressure cooker. Add the milk minute rice sugar salt cinnamon vanilla extract and brown sugar into the crock pot.
Stir twice during cooking period. Add 6 cups of the milk the rice sugar and salt and stir to combine. High for 2 3 hours.
In the slow cooker add all the ingredients and mix until sugar is dissolved. Stir the egg mixture into the rice in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for about 3 4 hours stirring occasionally while cooking.
Drizzle on some honey or sweetened condensed milk. Just a few tips. Cover cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or until the rice is cooked and is creamy.
2 cover and cook on high until the rice is cooked through and the pudding is creamy about 3 1 2 to 4 hours. Give it a gentle stir. Add a little nutmeg if you like.
Pour egg mixture through a fine mesh strainer into the rice mixture. 1 coat the insert of a 3 quart or larger slow cooker with a thin layer of butter. Arrange some fruit like bananas berries mangoes coconut flakes or lemon zest on each serving.
