Chop the bacon then fry in a separate pan until golden.
Recipe quiche jamie oliver. Rip in the top leafy half of the basil add a pinch of salt and black pepper and blitz until smooth. Whisk the crème fraîche eggs egg yolks milk and nutmeg together in a bowl and season generously. Meanwhile crack the eggs into a large bowl and whisk in the cream milk and a good pinch of salt and pepper.
Coarsely grate the cheese. Whisk together the eggs then stir through the cheese milk leeks bacon and a good pinch of seasoning. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin.
Carefully pour the mixture into the pastry case. Preheat the oven to 200 c 400 f gas 6. Trim and finely slice the leeks then sautée with a splash of oil until soft and sticky.
Bake the quiche in the oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until the filling has set and the top is beginning to turn golden. Drain well and place into a large bowl. Trim finely slice and add the spring onions.
Preheat the oven to 180ºc gas 4.
