Recipe Rebel Turkey Pot Pie
In a medium skillet melt butter and add carrots potatoes onion and celery.

In a small bowl whisk egg and remaining 1 tablespoon cream. Preheat oven to 425 degrees f 220 degrees c. Add the celery into the melted butter and cook for a few minutes.
Add the turkey pot pie filling to the bottom of a pie dish. Roll out 2 pie crusts and add the first one to the pie dish. Bake until golden brown 40 45 minutes.
Lower the temp to medium and add the flour into the skillet stirring constantly. Single pie crust pot pie. Vent the top dough and bake for 40 minutes.
Brush the top of the pie crust with the egg wash and place the pie pan on a baking sheet. Add the onion celery carrots parsley oregano salt and pepper. Stir in flour until no white can be seen.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees with the cast iron in the oven to preheat with it. Remove from the oven and allow the pie to rest for 10 15 minutes before serving. Mix the egg and the heavy cream to make an egg wash.
