Recipe Sugar Cookies With Sour Cream
In a large bowl or stand mixer combine the sour cream sugar butter eggs and vanilla or almond.

Mix butter and sugar. Add baking soda baking powder and flour and beat on low until combined dough will be soft almost like cake batter. Gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Beat white sugar and 1 cup butter together with an electric mixer in a large bowl until creamy. Add eggs vanilla and sour cream and beat until smooth. Beat for 2 3 minutes.
Add the sour cream and half of the sifted dry ingredients. Cream together white sugar butter or margarine vanilla and eggs. In a large bowl cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining dry ingredients with a wooden spoon or the paddle attachment of the stand mixer on low speed. Beat sour cream and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract into butter mixture.
Beat in the egg sour cream and vanilla. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 8 teaspoon salt and confectioners sugar. Beat the mixture for about 1 minute.
