Rice pudding recipe heavy cream. This isn t only a recipe for creamy rice pudding it s a super easy recipe for creamy rice pudding. 1 cup long grain rice uncooked. Add eggs cinnamon vanilla and a bit of butter.
In a medium saucepan combine the cooked rice with 1 1 2 cups of the milk and the sugar. Turn into baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon. Stir rice into boiling water.
I first boiled the rice with the water and once that was absorbed i added the milk one ladleful at a time and kept stirring until all the milk was used up. The pudding comes together on the stove in about 30 minutes. Remove pan from heat and let rest 10 minutes.
Heat the milk and sugar. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy 15 to 20 minutes. 2 cups milk i use 2 1 cup heavy whipping cream.
Combine with the cooled rice and mix well. Creamy rice pudding is good anytime. Reduce heat to low cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
As soon as it starts to simmer around the edge of the pan reduce heat to the lowest temperature where you can maintain a simmer partially covered until the rice is tender about 20 25 minutes. Add eggs cinnamon vanilla and a bit of butter. Whisk together the egg sugar vanilla and cinnamon in a small bowl.
