Stir in the sweet potatoes and stock.
Easy sweet potato soup recipe. Add carrots and sweet potatoes and sauté for 10 minutes more until vegetables just begin to soften. Reduce heat to medium low cover and simmer until the potatoes have softened about 30 minutes. Pour in chicken stock and water and bring to a boil over high heat.
Add onion and garlic and sauté for 5 minutes until tender. Toast pecans in the hot skillet until fragrant. Heat a skillet over medium high heat.
Season vegetables with salt and pepper. Turn up the heat and bring the pan to the boil. Reduce the heat to low.
Garnish with toasted pecans. Place potatoes and ginger in large saucepan. Melt butter in a large pot over medium high heat.
Stir in the ginger garlic and chilli flakes and fry for 2 3 minutes or until fragrant.
