Naan recipe with live yeast. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat till it s very very hot. Add the yeast mixture yoghurt salt and oil knead the dough until the surface becomes smooth and shiny about 10 minutes.

You can also place the naan in open fire for it to puff and have the tandoor like appearance and taste. In a small bowl add the sugar warm water and yeast together. Combine the plain flour yeast sugar mixture curds melted ghee and salt in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough lukewarm water if required.
In a small bowl add the yeast sugar and 1 tablespoon of warm water. Uncover flip and cook for 30 seconds. Carry on with the next steps.
