Stir in oatmeal and raisins may need to mix by hand i do drop by rounded teaspoons 2 apart do not crowd they do spread on to greased sheets bake for 10 15 minutes only do not overbake they will burn and are too crispy cool 1 minute on sheet before removing to racks to cool completely. Add raisins and mix just until combined. In a bowl stir together the oats flour salt and baking soda.
Because i prefer a crunchy with a little chew oatmeal cookie. Fold in the oats until well combined. Stir in the oats raisins and pecans if desired.
