Add the rice and sugar and simmer until the rice is tender. Put the pan on at a medium heat. In a medium saucepan combine the rice and oat milk.
If you want it a little creamier add some more milk. Stir regularly to prevent sticking but leave uncovered boiling for 20 minutes. Bring the oat milk vanilla cinnamon and salt to a low simmer.
