Recipe Potato Soup Crock Pot
An hour before serving prep the roux by warming the milk and whisking in the flour until lump free.
Recipe potato soup crock pot. 1 2 hour to one hour before serving. For this recipe start by combining the broth potatoes onion garlic and pepper in a 4 or 5 quart slow cooker. In a bowl of a crock pot combine potatoes bacon chicken broth and thyme.
Cover and cook until potatoes are tender 4 to 6 hours on low or 2 to 3 hours on high. The beauty of slow cooker soups is that you can dump most of the ingredients together and go about your day. Put ground beef potatoes and onion in your crock pot add your chicken broth and water to your crock pot cover and cook on low for 10 12 hours about 30 minutes before your soup is done mix together your flour salt pepper and milk.
Cook covered on low until the vegetables are tender. Season with salt and pepper. Add in the cheddar cheese greek yogurt or sour cream salt and pepper and stir until combined.
Place potatoes broth garlic salt and bay leaf in a 6 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low until the potatoes are very tender about 6 hours. Add milk and flour mixture.
Turn off the slow cooker. Transfer the bacon and onion to a slow cooker and stir in chicken broth water potatoes salt dill weed and white pepper. Cover and cook on low 6 to 7 hours stirring occasionally.
Place potatoes onions butter bouillon parsley and water in the slow cooker crock pot and cook all day on low to medium. Slowly stir in the roux and turn your crock pot on high. Add the potatoes to your slow cooker then top with the diced veggies ham spices and chicken broth.
