Pour batter into the pie shell.

In medium bowl beat sugar butter maple syrup 1 2 teaspoon salt and the eggs with hand beater until smooth. On a floured surface roll out dough to fit a 9 inch pie plate. Stir frequently and don t overheat or the filling will start to set.
The bourbon is a totally optional ingredient so if you don t drink feel free to leave it out. Transfer crust to pie plate. Place pecans evenly into pie shell.
Pour into pastry lined pie plate. Whisk in the vanilla extract salt eggs and pure maple syrup until combined. Whisk together milk eggs vanilla and salt in a large bowl.
