Recipe For Ground Turkey Burritos
Spoon turkey mixture down center of each tortilla.
Recipe for ground turkey burritos. Cover and simmer stirring frequently for about 20 minutes. Probably 10 15 minutes on simmer. Saute onion celery and garlic until softened 5 to 7 minutes.
Place burritos on a baking sheet. Heat tortillas 1 at a time about 1 minute each. Warm cooking oil in a skillet over low heat.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and stir in the beans salsa chile peppers jalapenos chili powder cumin and oregano. I did let the meat mixture cook down longer than the recipe indicated as there was a lot of added liquid.
Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat. Stir in chili and salsa. In a large skillet heat the vegetable oil.
Bring to a simmer stirring frequently. Return to a boil. Add the ground turkey and break apart with a wooden spatula.
Fill with turkey mixture and top with cheese. Mix in turkey meat and season with salt. Add all of the seasoning and stir until the ground turkey is evenly coated.
