Sprinkle over the potatoes before they go into the oven. Add 1 2 cup of sliced green onions to the sauce along with the sliced potatoes. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.
Stir in flour salt and pepper until smooth. Saute 1 2 cup of chopped onion and 1 4 cup of diced green bell pepper in the butter. Season the entire layer with salt and pepper.
