Recipe Quinoa Lettuce Wrap
Gather all ingredients and equipment.
Recipe quinoa lettuce wrap. Let simmer covered for 20 minutes. Prep other ingredients and lay out on plates or a cutting board for easy assembly. You can fill them up as much as you wish.
Combine honey and peanut butter in a small microwave safe bowl. Pour soy sauce mixture into quinoa and stir well to combine. Pour the sauce over the quinoa mixture and stir to combine.
Equally fill the quinoa mixture into the lettuce leaves and top them with some hummus green onions and if you want some sriracha. Slice veggies red pepper cucumber scallion very thinly. Wash lettuce leaves and lay flat on paper towels to dry.
Remove from the heat and keep covered for another 5 minutes. Season with salt pepper and red pepper flakes. Makes approximately 20 lettuce wraps.
In a small bowl combine soy sauce brown sugar mirin and sesame oil. Now you can fill the leaves with the quinoa mixture. Microwave for 15 seconds.
Bring the quinoa and water to boil in a small sauce pot. Top each lettuce wrap with 2 tsps 10 ml of peanut sauce. Scoop quinoa into the lettuce and add grated parmesan cheese and salt pepper to taste.
