Recipe Spaghetti Squash Parmesan
Return the mixture to the hollowed out squash halves.
Recipe spaghetti squash parmesan. Scoop out seeds and throw them away. Transfer the shredded squash to the cream cheese mixture and toss to combine. Cut the squash in half lengthwise from stem to tail and scrape out the seeds drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
This preparation is for a 3 4 pound spaghetti squash. Remove from heat and add grated parmesan. Preheat the oven to 375ºf.
Lightly oil a baking sheet or coat with nonstick spray. Remove the pan from the heat add parmesan cheese and season generously with salt and pepper to taste. Cut the squash in half.
Don t overcook the spaghetti squash strands especially if they re already too soft or else they ll become mush. Then add some more parmesan. Turn the oven on to broil and broil until browned and bubbly 2 to 3 minutes more.
Bake until the cheese is melted 8 to 10 minutes. Prevent your screen from going dark while you cook. Evenly divide the filling between the squash halves then sprinkle with the remaining 1 4 cup parmesan.
Add spaghetti squash strands and toss with the garlic butter. Place into a medium serving bowl and garnish with freshly grated parmesan and basil leaves. Roasted spaghetti squash halves.
