Recipe Rice Pudding Creamy
Heat the oven to 150c 130c fan gas 2.
Recipe rice pudding creamy. Give it a good stir then place the pan on a very low heat. Cook gently for around 45 minutes or until thick and creamy stirring regularly. Melt the butter in a heavy based casserole dish over a medium heat.
Stir remaining 1 2 cup milk golden raisins beaten egg and white sugar into the rice mixture. I first boiled the rice with the water and once that was absorbed i added the milk one ladleful at a time and kept stirring until all the milk was used up. Stir rice into boiling water.
Heat the milk and sugar. In a clean saucepan combine 1 1 2 cups cooked rice 1 1 2 cups milk sugar and salt. During this time the rice will continue to absorb the liquid leaving you with a rich and creamy rice pudding.
Butter a 850ml baking dish then tip in the rice and sugar and stir through the milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Put the rice milk 200ml of water half the maple syrup or honey and the vanilla into a large pan.
Combine egg sugar vanilla cinnamon. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer. The pudding comes together on the stove in about 30 minutes.
Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy 15 to 20 minutes. Continue cooking until egg is set 2 to 3 minutes. Add the rice and stir to coat.
