Recipe Scalloped Potatoes With Ham And Cheese
Place half the sliced potatoes into a prepared baking dish.
Recipe scalloped potatoes with ham and cheese. Bake in the lower third of the preheated to 350f oven for 50 60 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Cover dish with aluminum foil.
Layer half of the potatoes in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Heat milk peas flour butter salt black pepper garlic powder and onion powder in a saucepan over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened 7 to 10 minutes. Gradually pour in milk stirring constantly until sauce is thickened about 5 minutes.
Top with ham slices. Add potatoes ham and cheese. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
Spread bechamel sauce and top everything with grated parmesan cheese. Remove the cover and bake another 1 2 hour until cheese bubbles and top browns. Sprinkle half the cheddar cheese and half the monterey jack cheese on top.
Pour sauce over potato and ham mixture. Add the rest of the ham and then pour over the rest of the sauce. Stir cheddar cheese into sauce until cheese is melted.
Stir in flour parsley salt thyme and pepper until smooth. Repeat layering potatoes ham and sauce. Place one layer of potatoes in a 2 quart baking dish.
