Recipe tomato dill soup. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender stirring occasionally. Add the tomatoes salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes.
In a large saucepan saute onion and garlic in oil and butter until tender. Add tomatoes water bouillon sugar and seasonings. Add the onion carrots celery and minced garlic and saute until tender.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. In batches ladle hot soup into blender and puree until smooth. Stir in the tomatoes and condensed chicken broth and season with dill weed salt pepper and the bay leaf.
Bring to boil reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes stirring often. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Melt butter in a soup pot.
Add the shallots and cook covered stirring occasionally until tender 4 to 5 minutes. Add tomatoes broth sugar and dill. Add garlic and cook for another 5 minutes.
Cook over medium high heat for 3 minutes or until heated through. Add onion and garlic and cook stirring until tender. Add tomatoes broth sugar and dill.
