Recipe Creamy Tomato Tortellini Soup
Bring to a simmer.
Recipe creamy tomato tortellini soup. Add canned diced tomatoes basil tomato soup and two cans milk. Drain and discard any excess grease. Sauté garlic with the olive oil in a large stock pot over medium heat until golden brown.
Coat soup pan with olive oil. Remove from the heat remove and discard the bay leaves and stir in the basil. Slowly add in the chicken broth stirring to combine.
Stir until it s combined. Saute everything for 3 4 minutes stirring occasionally to prevent burning. Melt butter in a large stock pot over medium heat.
Be sure to keep an eye on it so it doesn t get too brown or burnt. Cook the tortellini according to package directions. When the garlic is done add tomato soup tomatoes half and half chicken stock and spices and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering drop tortellini into the soup. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat. In a large pot add the tomato soup broth milk cream tomatoes onion powder garlic powder dried basil and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium high heat and reduce soup to a simmer. Drain tortellini and add to the soup. Cook and stir sausage and garlic until sausage is crumbly evenly browned and no longer pink.
