Recipe Using Spaghetti Squash Microwave
Using a spoon remove the seeds and pulp then discard.
Recipe using spaghetti squash microwave. Remove from the microwave and you ll find a much softer outer skin. Place in microwave and microwave on medium high in 5 minute increments. Cover and microwave on high for 1 1 4 minutes or until slightly soft.
Then move on to the step below. Place in the microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the squash from the microwave then slice from top to bottom lengthwise.
Pierce spaghetti squash with a fork about 8 times. This usually takes another five to 10 minutes depending on the size of the squash and your microwave. Remove seeds and scoop out pulp.
Casserole toss red pepper onion garlic and olive oil. Once the squash is cut in half and you ve scooped out the seeds just flip it upside down in a baking dish fill it with about an inch of water and microwave until soft. Divide butter between the halves and season very generously.
Wrap loosely in plastic wrap that has been pierced and place in microwave. Remove the squash from the microwave and slice from top to bottom lengthwise. Rotate spaghetti squash every 5 minutes until soft total time should be anywhere from 10 15 minutes depending on the size of the spaghetti squash.
Remove from oven scoop out squash and place in bowl. Pierce the spaghetti squash with a fork about 8 times. Add more butter if you like and serve.
