Recipe Sweet Potato Gratin
Combine cream butter and garlic in a saucepan.
Recipe sweet potato gratin. Bake in a preheated fairly hot oven 180c 350f gas 5 for 40 50 minutes until the sweet potato is. In the prepared baking dish layer a quarter of the sweet potatoes cream mixture parmesan and gruyere. Repeat layering three more times.
Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Cover the dish with foil and cook in for 45 minutes. Bake uncovered at 375 until the potatoes are tender 40 45 minutes.
Add the breadcrumbs and gingersnap crumbs and cook stirring until lightly toasted 3 to 5 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees f. Melt the butter in a small frypan and saute the garlic until golden.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees c. Add cream salt nutmeg and pepper. Place potatoes in a greased 8 in.
Preheat oven to 400. Grab handfuls of potatoes stack them up and arrange in 9 x13 casserole. In the baking dish place half the potatoes then half the parmesan then remaining mixed potatoes.
Gratin dish and spread potatoes into layers. Arrange 1 2 of the sweet potato slices in the prepared baking dish. Bring to a simmer.
