Shrimp Scampi Recipe Lemon Zest
Add olive oil salt pepper lemon zest and hot pepper flakes.
Shrimp scampi recipe lemon zest. Cook for 3 more minutes or until the shrimp are cooked through and pink. Reduce heat then start to build the sauce. Pour in the wine and add the lemon zest lemon juice salt and pepper.
In a large nonstick skillet heat butter and oil over medium high heat. Add shallots or scallion onion and cook until translucent about 2 minutes. Arrange the shrimp in baking pan in a single layer.
Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and start to caramelize about 3 minutes. Heat a skillet over high heat. Bake uncovered for 5 minutes.
Remove the shrimp from the pan to a plate and add the remaining marinade. Add shrimp salt and pepper garlic salt. Next add the white wine lemon juice and lemon zest.
Cook stirring occasionally until the shrimp turns pink. Add garlic red pepper flakes lemon juice and white wine reduce. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat.
Leave the heat on high and let the wine sauce boil for 2 3 minutes. Mix and use within 30 minutes. Add broth lemon zest lemon juice pepper salt and red pepper flakes to same pan.
