Recipe Pumpkin Apple Pie
On a lightly floured surface unroll crust.
Recipe pumpkin apple pie. Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees f 230 degrees c. Cook and stir for 4 minutes. Flip the crust into a pie pan and set aside.
Pour over apple layer. Combine sugar pumpkin pie spice and salt in medium bowl. Set aside on a wire rack to let cool completely before cutting into slices.
Transfer crust to a 9 in. In a bowl whisk the pumpkin milk sugar egg cinnamon and salt until smooth. Add 1 3 4 cup pumpkin puree evaporated milk ginger nutmeg cloves and cinnamon mixing well after each addition.
Spread apple pie filling into pie crust. Pour over apple layer. Add pumpkin corn syrup and evaporated milk.
Bake 35 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Remove the pie plate from the refrigerator and fill the bottom with the sauteed apple mixture. Gently pour pumpkin mixture over apples.
Bring to a boil. In another large bowl whisk the pumpkin filling ingredients. Bake for 10 minutes then reduce temperature to 375 f and bake until filling is just set in the middle about 40 minutes more.
