Soft oatmeal cookies recipe. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. Add combined flour baking soda cinnamon salt and nutmeg. Add the egg beating until fluffy then beat in the sour cream and vanilla.

Use a hand or stand mixer to cream the softened butter with both sugars until smooth about 2 minutes on medium speed. Gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Add alternately with milk to the creamed mixture.
Remove to wire rack. Add eggs then mix on high for about 1 minute until incorporated. Scoop dough out and shape into 1 1 2 inch balls or 40 grams each transfer to prepared baking sheet fitting 12 per sheet and spacing 2 inches apart.
