Lightly grease pie plate with butter.
Easy quiche recipe no crust. Preheat the oven to 390f 200c. Cook 4 to 8 slices of chopped thick bacon until crisp tender and drain. Use lactose free margarine instead of olive oil if desired and jalapeno yogurt cheese goat milk cheddar or some combination.
I searched the web and found a few quiche recipes and then adapted my own from the basic ingredients. Sprinkle bacon cheese and onion in pie plate. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Add the mushrooms to the onions in the pan and cook for a further couple of minutes. The quiche still tasted luscious and rich just as any proper quiche with or without crust should. Lightly grease a 9 inch pie pan.
Melt the butter in a large frying pan or saucepan then cook the onions slowly for about 10 minutes or until soft and beginning to caramelize. Without a crust the flavor of the filling steals the show. Plus the notable time and calories you save by not adding a crust makes this dish an appealing option for a healthy lunch or light dinner too.
Mix into the egg base with a cup or two of diced cooked ham and some shredded cheese. Stir in the bacon and 8 ounces of shredded swiss cheese. This was to my surprise super easy and super delicious.
Beat remaining ingredients until smooth. Crush into little pieces. Fry bacon until almost burnt.
