Quiche Recipe Spinach Ricotta
Squeeze the spinach to remove the moisture and add to the onions and stir.
Quiche recipe spinach ricotta. Use lactose free margarine instead of olive oil if desired and jalapeno yogurt cheese goat milk cheddar or some combination. Sautée for 5 6 minutes until spinach is reduced in volume and the liquid is evaporated. Meanwhile in a pan sauté the onion in half of the oil until softened about 2 to 3 min.
Add onion and cook for 1 minute. Stir into spinach mixture. Combine the ricotta cheese eggs dill pepper and nutmeg in a large bowl.
Mix thoroughly and place mixture into the pie pan. This was to my surprise super easy and super delicious. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Bake at 350 180 f for 40 to 45 minutes or until top is golden brown. Cover skillet and cook for 1 minute more allowing condensation to build inside the skillet. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
In a large bowl combine ricotta cheese and parmesan cheese milk and eggs and mix well. Add lemon juice salt black pepper and nutmeg. Perfect for breakfast lunch or brunch or serve it with a salad for a light dinner.
Evenly distribute cooked spinach in the pie plate. Pour into pastry shell. Stir in the cheeses spinach and grated nutmeg.
