Recipe Rotisserie Chicken Instant Pot
Using tongs flip and cook for an additional 4 minutes.
Recipe rotisserie chicken instant pot. Sprinkle the remaining seasoning over the top of the skin. Using kitchen tongs flip the chicken over and sear for about 5 minutes or until brown. Place metal trivet into the pot and add chicken stock.
Gently place chicken on top of the trivet. Place the chicken in the pot breast side down and cook for about 4 5 minutes or until golden brown. Place the chicken breast side down in the preheated instant pot.
Tie chicken legs with a string and tuck in the wings. Set 6 qt instant pot to the high saute setting. Carefully rub the other half of the oil and spices mixture on the other side of the chicken.
Press the saute function normal setting on the instant pot and add the remaining olive oil to the pot. Pour a little oil under the skin then coat with half the seasoning blend. Add the steamer shelf trivet and place the whole chicken on top of it breast facing up.
Rub the spice mix onto the whole chicken on both sides. Drain the chicken and remove its giblets. Allow the breast side to crisp up the chicken skin for a few minutes about 3 to 4 minutes total.
Pour 1and 1 2 cup water into a 6 quart instant pot. Place the whole chicken on the instant pot trivet then place it in the instant pot. Stuff chicken cavity with onions celery lemons and crush garlic.
