Royal Icing Recipe Lemon
This recipe make 6 6 1 2 cups.
Royal icing recipe lemon. With mixer on low speed begin slowly adding in the confectioner s sugar one cup at a time. Let stand for a few minutes. Thin icing by adding more lemon juice or water 1 tbsp at a time to create desired consistency.
Beat egg whites in a clean large bowl with mixer at high speed until foamy use only grade a clean uncracked eggs. Make icing while your cookies cool. Recipe for fresh lemon royal icing.

Serving size 2 tablespoons. Remember to ice cookies with a satin smooth finish you need to add water to thick icing to make it more fluid. Bake cookies at 325 degrees for 12 15 minutes.
Add the icing sugar to the egg whites a spoonful at a time and fold in. In another bowl combine icing sugar and lemon juice. It will ice approximately 6 dozen cookies about 3 inch in size.
Add the lemon juice and glycerine and stir. Combine ingredients in mixing bowl and mix on low speed scraping sides of bowl as necessary until icing is smooth and glossy about 5 min. Dip cookie tops in icing.
