Naan Recipe Greek Yogurt
This can also be done by hand.
Naan recipe greek yogurt. Place dough on grill and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until puffy and lightly browned. Add the remaining milk gradually stirring and bringing the dough together with your hands. Whisk together well to combine.
Non fat low fat or whole milk yogurt will all work fine in this recipe. Uncover flip and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in the yogurt till the dough is too stiff for a spoon then knead it in the bowl till it holds together well adding more flour if necessary.
Combine the self rising flour and the greek yogurt in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the hook attachment. After both sides are cooked in the pan use tongs to cook the naan over an open gas flame until puffed and charred about 30 seconds each side. Place one round in cover and cook for 1 minute.
Mix together flour baking powder and salt. Add 1 tablespoon baking powder and 1 tsp salt. Divide the dough into eight portions and roll into balls.
How to make naan. Stack the cooked buttered naan on a plate or platter and cover with a towel till ready to serve. In a large bowl whisk together the flour baking powder soda and salt.
Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients. Use 1 and 3 4 cups of this mixture for this recipe. If the dough is dry add 1 tablespoon of water.
