Naan recipe instant yeast. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat till it s very very hot. Uncover flip and cook for 30 seconds. Add warm water oil and yogurt to flour mixture.
Lightly flour your your hands and knead into a ball. Combine the plain flour yeast sugar mixture curds melted ghee and salt in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough lukewarm water if required. Take warm water and add yeast and sugar to it.
In a large bowl combine the flour sugar instant yeast and salt. And stir with a fork until the dough comes together. In another medium sized bowl whisk together the warm water yogurt and olive oil.
Knead for 5 minutes. If your yeast doesn t make foam small bubbles then your yeast is not good. If using instant yeast this step is unnecessary.
The yeast should be activated when it becomes foamy about 10 minutes. Sprinkle yeast over lukewarm water. Sprinkle sugar over top.
Combine the yeast sugar and 5 tbsp of lukewarm water in a bowl and cover with a lid and keep aside for 5 to 7 minutes. Now in a bowl add flour salt and yeast mixture. Stir to combine well.
