Recipe For Chicken Breast Diced Tomatoes
Combine tomatoes dressing and garlic powder.
Recipe for chicken breast diced tomatoes. Season chicken breasts on both sides with pepper and onion powder and arrange in the skillet. Place chicken on top of tomatoes. Add the onions chicken broth tomatoes garlic powder and sugar to the pan.
Make sure that the chicken is nestled down in the tomatoes so it simmers in the sauce while it cooks. Heat oil in a heavy deep sauté pan or dutch oven. Add the chicken pieces and brown over medium heat.
Add onion and garlic to the chicken and then cook for 3 minutes. Sear on both sides and cook for 10 minutes in the pan or till the chicken breast is cooked through. Place the chicken breasts back into the pan spoon the tomatoes on top of the breasts simmer for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
Lightly pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness. Once hot add the chicken breasts top side down and let cook undisturbed for 4 minutes until lightly browned. Bake for 35 minutes or until sauce bubbles and chicken is done cooking.
Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the tomatoes mushrooms kosher salt pepper and oregano. Add tomatoes and broth to the pan along with salt and cook for 8 10 minutes till the tomatoes have broken down completely and are mushy and have formed a thick sauce.
Cover and cook over low heat for 30 to 40 minutes or until the chicken is tender and thoroughly cooked. Add the white cooking wine to the pan and deglaze it. Simmer for 10 minutes.
