Recipe Sweet Potato Rice
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil or butter sweet potato salt and black pepper.
Recipe sweet potato rice. Once cooking is complete the rice cooker will automatically switch to keep warm mode. Add the sake and sea salt. Let the rice soak for 20 30 minutes.
Cover and heat over high heat for 10 min then over low heat for 10 min. Place the bowl in the rice cooker and cook the rice as usual. Add garlic and fry till slightly brown in color.
Spread the sweet potato pieces on top of the rice. Add the sweet potato cubes over the rice in the pot. Put rice into the rice cooker bowl.
If the sweet potato starts to look dry add one tablespoon more oil. Drain the satsuma imo and arrange on the rice in a single layer. Preheat oven to 350 f.
Bring it to a boil over medium heat and let it cook for about 15 minutes in a stone pot or 10 minutes in the regular pot. In a medium saucepan bring water to boiling. Simmer covered about 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
