Recipe Scalloped Sweet Potatoes
A scalloped potato casserole always makes the best kind of side dish especially for parties or holidays.
Recipe scalloped sweet potatoes. In a small saucepan combine the cream flour thyme garlic salt and pepper. Let the sweet potatoes cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Slice the potatoes into thin circles then assemble them in a 9 9 baking dish.
Cover and bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Baking dish layer half the sweet potato slices apple slices and crumbs. Bring to a boil.
In a greased 1 qt. Cover and and cook stirring occasionally until tender about 7 minutes. Bring to a gentle boil.
Bake covered for 30 minutes. Spread half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of a lightly buttered baking dish. Remove the baking dish from the oven.
How to make scalloped sweet potatoes. Place sweet potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water. Top the sweet potatoes with of the cream sauce and spread out gently with a rubber spatula to cover all of the sweet potatoes.
Cook the fresh garlic cream and rosemary in a pan over medium. Sprinkle with half of the butter and cheese. Thinly slice potatoes to about 1 8 in thickness.
