Transfer crust to pie plate. The bourbon is a totally optional ingredient so if you don t drink feel free to leave it out. Add eggs to the bowl of a stand mixer and beat for 1 minute.
Add maple syrup butter vanilla salt and pecans. Slowly add warm butter mixture whisking constantly until smooth. Pour egg mix over.
