Recipe Quiche Frozen Pie Crust
Mix the eggs half and half salt pepper and nutmeg.
Recipe quiche frozen pie crust. Add the parsley and cook covered for 2 minutes more meanwhile whisk together the eggs and half and half. For each of the recipes below with the exception of the mini quiche roll out the pie crust and fit into a 9 inch standard pie plate not deep dish. Mix the eggs and half and half in a bowl.
Prebake according to package instructions. Using a fork poke holes into the bottom and sides of the crust and place in the oven to bake the crust for about 8 10 minutes or until lightly golden. Add the onions 1 2 teaspoon of the salt and 1 4 teaspoon of the pepper.
Heat oven to 375 f in a large skillet over medium low heat heat the oil. Preheat the oven to 400 f 205 c and set a rack in the middle position. Fill 2 3 s full with pie weights or dried beans.
Add filling and milk and mix well. Blind baking the frozen pie crust. Spread the onion broccoli and cheese on the bottom of the pie crust.
Place quiche on cookie sheet and bake on the middle oven rack for 45 50 minutes or until top is browned and a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Reduce heat to 350 degrees f 175 degrees c and bake for an additional 35 minutes until top of quiche begins to turn brown. Place the frozen pie crust on a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake for about 11 minutes. Prick the shell generously line it with foil or parchment paper and put in some pie weights or dried beans. Line the inside of the pie crust with a piece of foil covering the crust and extended a few inches on either side refer to the photos.
