Bake at 325 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Peanut butter cookies quick recipe. Arrange cookies on ungreased baking sheets 2 inches apart. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 minutes or until lightly browned and slightly puffed.
Dark brown will impart a slightly more caramel like flavor. Gently flatten each cookie and press crisscross pattern into top with fork. If you re using a natural peanut butter make sure to give it a very good mix before adding.
Flatten slightly with a glass dipped in sugar if desired. Cool completely on wire rack before removing from baking sheets. Remove to wire racks to cool.
Vanilla extract in a large bowl until combined. Stir together 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup sugar 1 large egg and 1 tsp. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in.
Cool for 1 2 minutes before removing to wire racks. Bake at 350 until set and edges are lightly browned 10 12 minutes. You can use either light or dark brown sugar in this recipe.
Bake for 6 to 8 minutes in the preheated oven. Immediately top if desired with sprinkles chocolate chips or chocolate candies. I like using a creamy peanut butter for this recipe but you can definitely use chunky instead.
